Catherine Hardiman, Chief Executive Officer

Catherine brings over 18 years experience in Global Markets, FX and eCommerce, having held senior positions at top tier investment banks. At Deutsche Bank Catherine led the strategy and development of dbFX – the online retail FX trading business. Prior to this she has held management positions in FX sales and business development at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Standard Chartered. Throughout her career Catherine has worked with a wide range of participants in the FX market – from Institutional and corporate to mid-cap and retail.

John Farrell, Global Head of Sales

With over 15 years in Foreign Exchange, John brings a wealth of experience from FX trading, sales and eCommerce. During his career at Deutsche Bank he headed the roll-out of their third party FX Platform, helping establish them as the market’s no.1 liquidity provider. John was Managing Director for EMEA Sales at Currenex and part of the highly successful European team at Hotspot FX. Most recently he worked as a consultant, advising on eFX liquidity and connectivity.

Dr. Jock Percy, Founder and Executive Board Member

A finance practitioner specialising in the field of telecommunications, Jock is the one of the founding members of FXecosystem. Throughout his career he has held senior positions at Sharp Corporation, British Telecom, Double Helix and ACE*COMM. Jock’s experience of exchange technology is what inspired the inception of FXecosystem – as he struggled to understand how the biggest financial market in the world was still reliant on old copper connections for connectivity!

Gary Sugarman, Executive Chairman

Gary has been in telecommunications/M&A for over 25 years and is the Managing Member of Richfield Capital Partners, a venture fund that he formed in May of 2010 that provides seed capital /working capital investments in the technology and media sectors. He has extensive experience of building and managing new and established companies and serves on numerous boards. Gary is principal of Richfield Associates, a telecom investment and merchant bank that he founded in 1994. He also served as executive chairman of Veroxity Technology Partners (VTP), a Boston-based metro fibre-provider which was sold to Lightower Fiber Networks in August 2010.
