What’s a Meet-Me-Room (FXE-MMR)?

The FXE-MMR is a meeting point within leading data centres where buy- and sell-side participants physically connect via a secure, low latency and robust network to trade and exchange data. Within this MMR, market participants can interconnect with each other quickly and efficiently. To interconnect, FXecosystem provides participants with a circuit or cross-connect from their offices or collocation position to the closest FX-MMR. We then arrange cross connections amongst participants within the Meet-Me Room. By taking an existing, proven architecture in the telecoms world and transplanting it into foreign exchange trading, FXecosystem is effectively changing how the market connects, offering clients cost savings, which satisfying the constant desire for speed and edge. The result? A single point-of-entry to secure low latency, physical cross connections, via a point-to-point network.
